A Successful JBC Sales Associate needs to display confidence and a positive attitude; is personable and also persistent. Is able to balance multiple tasks in a fast -paced environment. Is resourceful and strives for personal growth in learning new sales tactics and skills. Must have a strong sense of passion for the brand and the growth of the company.
Required Qualifications:
*3 or more years in the luxury Commercial flooring industry with a proven track record in achieving sales results.
*Strong communications skills, both verbal and written
*Strong math capabilities; able to calculate square footage amounts, perform basic arithmetic.
*Ability to work in a team environment
*Exceptional customer service with prompt response
* Innovative and resourceful in Sales tactics
*Ability to travel regionally; reliable transportation required.
Primary Duties Include:
*Build relationships with key target-market owners, designers, builders and decision makers.
*Network and cold call to create new clients in the A&D community.
*Follow up with existing clients for additional business opportunities
*Listen to prospects, identify and understand solutions for selling opportunities.
*Respond to sample requests and shipping of samples for potential clients
*Travel regionally to sales appointments and explain Product knowledge to A & D firms.
*Prepare Sales reports showing sales volume and potential sales
*Prepare and communicate periodic sales reports outlining actual sales information and goals; market conditions and product needs
*Analyze sales reports to aid in formulating goals to assist in promoting sales
*Calling on A&D firms
*Close sales, finalize invoices/contracts; receive deposit payments and effectively work with Operations/Logistics team to ensure client satisfaction
*Follow up on Shipped orders with personal clients
